First I have to say that his hotel already changed name and probably owner, it is now called the “Ibis Styles Madrid Prado”. Still I will tell my experience, and you can always count on the location, that never changes.

The Hotel is located on a one way tight street, calle del prado. This is not an important city street but it is in the center and it is a eight minute walk from the Plaza Puerta del Sol.
For us, a young couple, the location was great, we could walk everywhere and it had plenty of street commerce around the hotel.
The reception was pretty simple and offered services as internet and a nespresso machine, all paid, and we did not use them. These are offered services that probably change with time, and nowadays I believe it is quite different.
The rooms were simple and comfortable, one of the disadvantages of our room was having a window with access to the emergency stairs, it can be uncomfortable, so we had our curtains closed.
In overall, it is quite a nice hotel in the center of Madrid.
I will not say much more, since the hotel can be a bit different.
