It’s St. Patricks today, let’s talk about Ireland.

Ireland has a great history and many tales, but today I will show why you should visit it and why I want to visit the island of Ireland.

Ireland has several points of interest, some of them were man made, others were made by nature.  Some of this interesting points are in the Unesco World Heritage Sites, one of the most important lists of the best places around the world.

The three World Heritage Sites are:

  • Sceilg Mhichíl, an island 12 km far from the coast that hosted a monastic complex. It may be hard to get there but if you like ancient ruins,  it is a place to consider.

  • Brú na Bóinne, three pre-historic sites that still remain as some of the most interesting in Europe due to its art related to social, economics  and religious functions.

Ireland is not only about heritage and culture, it is also home of many castles and famous whiskey, so you should also visit the following places:

  • Whiskey “Factory”, you can visit the famous Jameson or Bushmills where Irish whiskey is made.
  • Guinness Storehouse, home of the famous beer from Dublin.
